If you’ve spoken to us over the past couple of weeks, you’ll know that we’ve been really busy which means we haven’t had the chance to blog in a while. We have loads of news for you over the coming weeks, catching up on what’s been going on in the land of weddings.
We’re starting off with these fabulous people; Steve and Qian, who got married at Cave Castle. You may have already seen a couple of their wedding photos on our Facebook page, but here’s the moment we first met them at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park for their engagement shoot.
As you may have noticed, we do love visiting the Yorkshire Sculpture Park but this visit was a particularly sunny spring day and very busy too. We chatted to the couple about music, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age got a thumbs up from Steve so we knew this was a good start and as we walked around, Jenni taught us all a little bit about the artwork around the park.
If you’ve not seen the Kaws exhibition, it’s rather impressive and the sheer scale of the figures is crazy. It’s at this point we got to see a little more of Steve and Qian’s personalities as they started to copy the Kaws poses.
Next on the agenda was pointing and laughing at very noisy ducks.
And after a leisurely walk, the pair were playing hide and seek around the trees and running across stepping stones, which was rather cute.
It’s been great getting to know Steve and Qian over the past couple of weeks, their wedding was beautiful and full of surprises but we’ll show you the photos and tell you about that another time on our blog 🙂
